Wasn't that the Doctor and not Kramer? I just bit the bullet and got one for the targa. After much contemplation I decided that WGI is not only my fav track but also a cool place to visit. Sort of like going back to Bedford Falls. So I did

WAKN GLN. Now mind you, I of course thought that linguistically people would look at that, pronounce it phonetically and immediately get it. Seems I was wrong. Yes Dan it isn't the first time and it won't be the last! I have to be preemptive with Dan because he can't help himself. I have been asked several times what the heck my license plate is all about. If it confuses people then perhaps I just put a little forced thought into their heads which my have some value. Sort of like a brain game. Or maybe some of you might think, that's stupid. Whatever like totally.

I use it so like people can understand me. If I spoke or wrote that way here, in the real world, I would be shunned. Thank you though. I won’t consider moving to Ca. Until I can be paid if I don’t want to work!

67 is the new 65 ? Can we condense that on a license plate ? ( I have not kept up with the latest news on whether or not the proposed social security eligibility age increase to 67 has become law , but since I'm still about 20 years away from that threshold ;-) ;-) , just wasn't a priority for me )

66.4. Don't call Dan old. He is so very  sensitive with his age!

Not at all sensitive about my age, lol. Like I said, age has both privileges and entitlements so what's there to complain about ?! Particularly bring able to speak your mind without much concern about the repercussions of it .. I love that aspect of age ;-) :-)

Jay, as for the " old fart " comment, I'll have you know my farts are so old that instead of gas, a puff of DUST comes out ..

I’m not the administrator but dan needs to be censured. Only old people have these discussions. Next it’s his meds and those damn kids on his lawn.

Wonder if the DMV would allow OLDFART or even OLDFRT on a plate ? Although if they do, I'd imagine it's already taken .

In today's DMV news : an avid biker was denied a vehicle plate for his car which would have read LTHR DDY because the DMV determined that is a term often used by the gay community to promote homosexual lifestyle and also implies a promotion of sexual activity . Didn't know Dr. Ruth was named to the DMV license screening committee . :-) ;-) Not that it matters but the guy is straight , father with kids, he just always wears full leather ( racing attire mostly ) when he rides his bikes either competitively or otherwise .

In a related story, many states DMVs have declined to allow MAGA for license plates requests by reason that it may be seen as an offensive message which could incite conflict and even violence .

And if that wasn't enough of a " big brother " M.O. for you , I understand that some insurancecompanies will add questions to their annual mileage questionnaire form they send with your renewal notices, which will ask if you have either a license plate , or bumper stickers ( who the hell puts those on their cars anymore ?! , it's not the 60s or 70s..) which have political, or offensive messages. I guess they're concerned your car may be vandalized and they'll have to pick up the claim .
