Been searching all over for the gear ratios in the 968 turbo s. Any one have the specs? The goal is to have the transaxle done by summer, for my 93'. I need the exact specs, so I can replicate them. Curious if it used a different input shaft, r&p, etc. I found a parts list once, but it was in German. Anyone have one in English? Or another in German, I can have translated? Even just the part numbers of the differences in the trans would be nice.

Yeah, got a feeling 1 and 2, used a totally different input shaft. Id give anything for the part number. I know the axles were bigger. These can be had..maybe not OEM tho. I know thicker axles exist..forget where. Thing is Id rather break a axle than R&P. Kinda want it to go first...if its gonna go. Im just hoping I can get the same gearing without needing custom input shaft, and gears. One or the other wouldnt be too bad, but both....the engine build might wait til winter. Im sure it would be very expensive to get it from porsche, but from what I understand, they will one off anything for the right price.

I was talking to Roger(CMS) on Monday. 5th and 6th are available. No idea if they are the same ratio used in the turbo s tho. He didnt even know, which is why Ive been scouring the net. 1 and 2 will need changed too, which unfortunately is looking like a cu$tom input $haft. If only I knew the exact ratios, and part number for the input shaft, might not be much more to source from factory....if I knew what it was. Wonder if its an audi part. Very little info about this around. Was hoping maybe people, on this site, who own a factory original might be able to shed some light.
