[quote name='333pg333' date='Aug 14 2006, 02:36 PM']Err, doesn't it strike you that going to at least 5 different suppliers and searching on the net to arrive thus far at no solution v's buying the Promaxx plug for $30 odd bucks kind of ironic? The fuel you've used and your own time plus whatever the tint shop will charge you may have cost you more than the perfect packaged solution. Not criticising here, but from the sidelines it looks like the one on offer would have been the best option. Hope you succeed. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I would agree with you, except that since the hole in the tint is larger than the diameter of the Promax plug, their plug doesn't solve my problem. No matter which solution I go with, I will have to go to the tint shop and have a donut-shaped piece of tint inserted that fills the gap between the 1" diameter hole in the glass, and the current 1-5/8" diameter hole in the tint. Getting that done will simplify the job considerably, since it will reduce the total diameter of the hole I need to fill to 1", and there are several available plugs, including Promax's (and BumperPlugs'), that should fill this size hole.
