Sometimes my post goes into a "save" mode that locks up my ability to replay. Is that what is happening?

there is nothing wrong with your account, and i have not heard of anybody else having an issue.

clearly you can post, so it isn't something with the site. it is likely either a settings issue, or something on your computer (make sure you have cookies enabled) or something going on with your server.

I had this problem in particular on my home computer when I "upgraded" (meaning slower and less useful in Microsoft speak) to IE 11.

Try something like Google Chrome and see if you still have the problem.

there is a possibility that our software, which is a few years old now, is no longer compatible with some operating system software. you can thank microsoft for that. they love to ignore backwards compatibility.

that being said, we are going to be upgrading very soon, so this problem may either get better or worse, depending on how well those software guys did their job

I am having trouble with both Font and size. Whenever I try to type either a new post as I am doing now or a in reply The font is blank and the size is also not set to a size. So I have to chose something which as you can see is incorrect?

I see the problem you are having. It must be a Local setting on your computer.
