those pesky vacuum lines
#1

my mech is struggling with a single vacuum line ( he reconnected all of them ) and is not sure where it should connect , or if the connection is broken because nothing is visible/obvious for that particular one..

is there some vacuum lines diagram that can point to where each and everyone of those things go ?

There's not very many lines.
I can not think of one for the 968 at the moment

Do you have the manuals downloaded?

Any idea which one he is talking about?
It had to be connected on one end, and he's looking for where to treminate the other?

There is one on the lower side of the intake that is easy to miss and one onthe bottom side of the throttle body (I think).

he found it. it was the oil separator connection ( broken off right at the engine block surface, actually about 1 mm or so below the surface and since it's obscured there anyway it was tough to identify )

that is a good find..

Another leak I found was the vac line for the AC vent control in the engine bay...Both sides had fallen off..
