Europeans use hazard blinkers to indicate fog, traffic hazards or accidents. They are used much more often than we in the US use them, mainly as a hazard indicator for a disabled car (yours).[post="1218"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Most of the time, Europeans use hazard blinkers to indicate; "Please don't give me a ticket. I know this is a dumb place to park, but I'm in a hurry". <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I am looking for advice on trying to clean up all of the various switches on the dash. I was thinking of moving the hazard, rear defroster, etc to the center above the shifter, delete the outside temp. I have seen a few threads on the forum, but from a few years ago. If anyone has reconfigured the interior and come up with an arrangement that you think works well, let me know. thanks.

Every time I get back in the 968 from my E36, from habit I reach for the window switch next to the shifter, and hit the sunroof switch instead. For anyone who has spent time in E30 and E36 BMWs, window switches on the center console just seems like a perfectly natural, and in my opinion, better, location - for everyone else it probably makes no sense at all!
Agreed that not illuminating any of the switches - except the central locking switch (huh?) - was a pretty lame move by Porsche.
I may do Flash's switch switcheroo once I get done with the big stuff on this car.
