sunshield/heatshield
#1

I have an old one that won't stay put. Anyone care to make a recommendation? I have one for my Disco2 that is much more sturdily constructed than the one I've been using in the 968. Pelican sells "Coverking" and Paragon sells the "Heatshield" brand.

Thanks!

are you talking about the windshield screen that you stick inside the car?

Heatshield brand has excellent quality - pretty sturdy construction. I've gotten 'em for all my cars. www.heatshieldstore.com

yeah - the problem is that we use cafe press, and they won't let us add stuff of our own

so, we make people show up to events and we give them to them

let me try to figure out how many we have and how that would work - the reason we didn't do that before was due to shipping - they are a long weird size and the packaging required to prevent damage was just plain nutty in cost

I'm busting your nuggets. I donated money a long time ago. [Image: wink.gif] But I should at least get an updated Group or something like that?

I just bought the 987 Boxster sunshield from Suncoast. It fits very well except you must be carefull getting it by the mirror. It says PORSCHE on it. It is a folding insulated board type. I have one in my BMW & loved it.

The now-flimsy shield I've been using is the heatshield brand - it's lasted more than five years so I can't complain about the quality - it's just gotten soft and saggy and keeps slipping out from behind the visors. Nissanite, are you saying you bought the boxter sunshield to use in the 968? I didn't see any 968 items on the suncoast website.

While we're OT on that donation thing, you were going to check to see if you got mine a few months ago. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
