stereotype game
#1

Far be it from me to reinforce stereotypes, but in this case I have to make an exception - this is the third person I saw in the last few weeks who looked like a clone of the previous two, down to the clothes they wore, and they all had the same model car ! So let's see how many of you can match the guy with the car.

I'm guessing 90% will get it on the first try.. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

In his late 50s, early 60s, white hair coiffed a la country singer style, jeans one size too tight ( and ironed - a crease, mind you..) and....wait for it.... satin jacket !

Ok, give me the car he drives - <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Disclaimer: no, I don't believe this represents all the ______ drivers, but I swear at least 50% must fit the profile <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Up here it would be a late-70's caddy with the leatherette peeling off the roof in large patches.

Yep, the 'vette's got my vote... it's gotta be a late model, though, because it's about the status symbol, not the car. My wife has that stereotype beat into my head. "Don't even look at that car... it's a car for a man with a midlife crisis."

yeah, i think it comes with the big belt buckle, and your choice of brown or black patent leather shoes (white would again be for the caddy)

aw come on, I thought a few more of the 40 + that read the post by now would take a stab at naming the car..

Vette, of course !

One was brand new, the other a mid -90s and IIRC the third somewhere late 80s.
