My 968 shows the following "option"



P05 Club Coupe Specification 249



The P05 is not on any of the Option lists I've found. However, one document seemed to indicate that the option could be the "technic package" Not sure what that is.



However, the PET parts breakdown shows part 477 511 413 as the 18mm stabilizer bar for Model M 030/249 (Note: #249)



So...I wonder if I can assume that my "regular" 968 coupe came with the a larger stabilizer bar than stock? The PET lists 3 different stabilizer bars for the 968...16mm, 18mm, and 19mm. The 19mm is for model M 030/480. The 16mm bar gives no model detail.

P05 is the Advanced Technic package - since P04 is the Advanced Technic package with Bose sound system, it seems logical to think that P05 is also somehow sound related

Put a caliper on it and measure it to know for sure.

Measurement is the best solution to know what is on your car. When I installed the M030 stabilizer bars I was surprised to find the stock rear bar was only 16mm, but that's what it was. I was able to sell my front bar to a 944 owner but can't even give away the 16mm rear one! Good luck, Bob Blackwell.
