Fun for sure, but the downside is the additional links to an endless array of clips which you just can't help opening, and then you end up ( ok, I did anyway..) spending way too much time just watching 1000hp Veyrons simply destroy everything that manages to produce only a pathetic 500 or 600 hp , test runs of new super exotics at " the ring " , or on spectacular routes most of us will never have a chance to drive, drag races on the strip or on highways between cars that make the 968 feel as slow as a Trabant misfiring on one of its two cylinders, so you drool over the keyboard and dream of that lottery ticket..

i don't tend to get hooked like that on those videos - i've driven too many cars that would have blown them away in the 1/4 mile to really have that kind of exhibition sway me

that being said, it does motivate me to complete some other things on the 968 that i have been toying with for a while

flash, put down that crack pipe right now driven "too many" cars that would have blown away the veyron or the koenigsegg or the mclaren or the gt2 which were racing in those clips ? that would pretty much have to be a top fuel dragster

speaking of veyrons, the guy who lives a few minutes away and I've seen now a few times on hwy 280 during my commute to work, was crusing yesterday on a light traffic veteran's day mind you, and ,AGAIN, was driving that thing at barely 70 mph.. WTF ?!
I swear, those people need to have their cars confiscated and given to someone who deserves to drive them as they were meant to be driven.

lol - i was referring to the cars in the clips listed above (vettes and GT2), not the ones you went hunting for

but still, yes, i have driven a couple of cars that turned 8s, and quite a few that turned 9s (built a couple of those myself) - tons in the low 10s (pretty easy to build one of those) - that was back in the days of fremont raceway
