Hood clearance issue
#1

Thanks to Len I have a nice set of replacement engine compartment trim pieces: I'd like to install them. My existing pieces show wear at points: paint transferred from the underside of the hood. I have the hood adjusted for what seems like optimal height: the seams run flush to the mating fender edges

Can anyone chime in with suggestions? How difficult/risky is it to adjust things at the hinge assembly?

Many thanks...

not too tough, once you figure out the "compound tilt" thing - the holes in the rear hinges allow for rear change, front change, and fore/aft change

then there is the latch adjustment

then the front bumper stops

all the while watching the gaps, the distance to the windsheild wiper, and the strike pattern on the latch

be patient - it takes a few shots to get it right
