A great DIY!
I had this done when my car was in the shop a few years back for some minor body work. The shop did not do nearly the meticulous job you did. I accepted their explanation that the panels warp over time and so it is hard to replace the rubber to an OEM standard. Yet another lesson learned.

If you are talking about the little red grommets that attach to the side of the body then you can find them at your local Porsche dealer as well.
Fantastic write up and I think I will approach this DIY project as well.....on more question however.
In your post, you do not cover the rear cladding which extends from behind the rear wheel and around the rear bumper....this is precisely where the cladding on my car has shrunk and popped out of the channel.
I will check in the forum for more on this topic but any response would be appreciated.
I also have the front and rear bumper seals to install someday but they are not usually problem areas. Not like the sides at least. My DIY is just for the more common sides.

Hey Jeff,
On your first shot of the small panel being removed, you can see the pin in the clip is ribbed. The replacement clips were not ribbed, but just flared with a recess. The new clip would not hold for me. Did you replace that clip as well? Any problems. I did not replace the body grommets (red plugs) and wondered if that was what needed to be done? Any thoughts?
