Should there be a rubber stopper?
#1

Hi,

Please look at the clutch pedal....

Should there be a rubber stopper at that round hole?

I just replaced the pressure plate.  My mechanic told me that clutch pedal sometimes does not spring back all the way !

Nope, no stopper. The clutch master cylinder has a build-in stop. I think that the hole is a mounting point for the cruise control switch (if equipped), but I'm not certain.

If the clutch pedal does not return fully sometimes, there is probably air in the system. Either that or the spring isn't set properly.
