Should be an easy one...
#1

When the turn signal is on, should I be able to hear some sort of "clicking" inside the car? Mine makes no noise whatsoever. The turn signals work, I just don't notice when they don't turn themselves off. It's hard to be cool when you're driving down the road with your blinker on...

Better than driving a VW van with a horn that's stuck on, like in "Little Miss Sunshine." Cracks me up every time I think about it.

They are very, very, very quiet in our cars. Inside your garage, with the engine off, radio off , fan switch off, you should hear it.

Been a long time since I've driven my car (having the engine out will have that effect...), but I think Dan's right.

The blinker indicator in the gauge panel will be on if the blinker is on.

Appreciate the replies and grins. I guess the short answer is that it's not any different than the rest and I should glance at the guages more often, or use my turn signal less.

If you can't hear yours...you are probably low on blinker fluid.

The blinker on "tic tic" noise doesn't seem to work nowadays anyway. All to often i get a guy that cuts over to the right while he was driving the last two miles with his left blinker flashing. Driving with my mom, the constant tic tic is only noticed by me.

Manufactures should come up with something more annoying to ensure that blinkers are shut off after the turn is made. Perhaps a squirt of water in the face

Mine comes and goes. I'm used to not hearing it and then every once in a while I get the full "tic tic" sound and I look around and wonder what that noise is in my car

Thanks for all the laughs!

"low on blinker fluid" was the best!

The blinker is very quiet in the 968, but in my SAAB = super loud and VERY annoying!!!

Interesting that we will notice a noise, but not a blinking light.

OK, since we're beefing. How come the blinker doesn't have directional arrows? If it doesn't indicate which way I'm supposed to turn...how am I supposed to remember?

lol - yeah - would it have killed them to add a second bulb?

it's probably in the box of "unnecessary parts", like the frigging cupholder, the heated glass rear cab window, and the console mounted window switches

And don't forget to add the "swinging-90-degrees-to-the-side sun visors."

As for the blinkers, have you tried using nitrogen?

Is there a way to make the sound louder?

with all the construction work i've been doing lately, my "click-pop-crack" has certainly gotten louder, and now there is an intermittent accompanying "groan"
