After discovering (thanks @waylander) that at least some aftermarket glass sunroof panel replacements (with the "Saratoga" name) were produced by Pilkington Glass in 2014, I did a bit of research and discovered they are making another production run of these now (and apparently have been for most of 2019).    I spoke with someone at Pilkington today and they have the glass produced and are just waiting on the hardware now.   Cost will be $499 + $55 shipping.    He suggested calling back in a few weeks to check if the hardware has arrived as they'll start taking orders at that point.

I will update this thread when I learn more, just wanted to let the crowd here now there may be another option soon to get a glass roof if desired.

Interesting

Last time i spoke to Nick he said they would never make anymore

I bumped into him at the London Classic car show on the Pilkington Classic Glass Stand, and that was Feb 2019

There is a whole thread (with title of "Saratoga Tops") on the topic on Rennlist - apparently it's been in the works since about that time.    This is at Pilkington US, not UK - just spoke to them today myself.

Update on this topic - Pilkington has produced the first set of the latest run of Saratoga tops and sold them to customers.

They're currently looking to identify/resolve an issue with the gasket separating (possibly adhesive didn't cure properly) before selling any more.

I'm on a waitlist to get notified once the get the issue resolved and are selling them again.       Will update here again when I hear more.

yup we had some issues, with the centre arm that touches the micro switch snapping off, and the seals falling off, mine did, but I found some clear sticky tape stuff from 3M and refitted it and its been fine since

it was like jelly on a tape roll, it was so sticky it was crazy.

some here returned the roofs for a refund, all those that did now seriously regret it
