Air filter element in air conditioning system?
#1

Hi Gang -

For some reason, my factory service manual is missing some of the HVAC pages. Is there a filter in the HVAC system that is replaced from time to time? Curious.

Best,

I just found out recently that 93's do not have the pollen filters near the fuse box

Interesting I thought all since 92 had them{?}.

The filters are a nice feature, but are expensive buggers... I think mine were $40/ea. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I don't know about the year, but there's two different part numbers for the hvac housing in PET. One is mine, the other looks like the one that accepts the pollen filter.

I fabricated my only little filters for my 'non filter' box - works great.

i think it was a 94 thing (true 94, not 718 code) - i seem to remember having this conversation online a couple of years ago when listing the differences
