Well, looks like Im going to have to put the stock headers and cat back or register the car in Vegas.. My car failed the equipment test for the headers (no CARB cert) and the emission test ( too much NOX). Talk to Gary from Vanguard motors yesterday and he said its not something that can be tuned. It could be the oxygen sensor, cat or even the cooling system that's throwing the NOX reading out of whack. Even if I fix the cause, I still will need to find someone who would pass me on the equipment side of the test. What a hassle.



So here is the questions for the Nevada people, will I have the same problem doing the emission test there to register the car? I'm driving up this Monday and would prefer to go this route instead of taking the darn thing off and on every other year...
