I generally stay out of discussions about RS Barn mainly because here is no way that I'm neutral about RS Barn or Pete Fitzpatrick. I have had the priviledge of knowing Pete for almost a year since the last 968 Celebration and I found out that RS Barn is only a couple of miles from home. Pete and I have been working together to bring the 968 Celebration to Newtown and I am always impressed with Pete's Ease and Manner.
Pete is never too busy to talk with owners and always finds the time discuss his products or just basic maintenance/racing issues. He went over my car thoroughly and performed all of the maintenance that I thought was being taken care of, by my otherwise "competent" mechanic didn't know about or take the time to review. My car is now running as smooth as it was brand new.
Yesterday, my birthday, I received the nicest present from my loving wife. The RS Barn stage one chip...My only previous mod was the K & N Filter. I can now see myself going down the Airbox mod, header, cat back.....route. Frankly I can't wait. And, I love the fact that I can use the RS Barn program to upgrade my car one system at a time, and know that the car will only get better and better as the whole has been so carefully engineered.
I guess that makes my wife and I both RS Barn addicts, I mean, how many wives will buy presents for their husband's mistress???
Great Job Pete!

whoa I used to live in Phoenix, I have a white 968, I am also a RSB wannabe. . . i think there is some weird time-continuum space folding thing going on here. . . hello, myself - I mean flwbyu
with the silly performance coming out of today's prod cars - a fellow local 968 owner is about to get a Golf GTI as his DD and track the 968 - it is nice to know we have an upgrade path for our 10+ year-old cars to stay on top of the HP/TQ game.

Wow! How fun bringing this old thread to life...
3 years after my very first mod, the stage 1 chip..now let's see...
Air box mod.,Header, cat-back, stage 2 chip, several other go fast items, M030 sways and various suspension goodies, strut tower brace, under carriage brace, stainless steel braided brake lines and clutch hose, higher connections battery cables, cross-drilled rotors, short shift kit, firewall brace..all installed by RS Barn. What I like to tell the wife is "standard maintenance"...
what a great trip its been...thanks for the ride!

Wow! Resurrected form 2006.
Old threads die hard.
I still think Pete should have a testimonials section on his page.
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

I am afraid I have also started going down this slippery road of addiction....I have the heatlshield and stage 1 chip...I thought I'd start with something simple....but that exhaust systems fills my dreams at night...As soon as there is enough in the 968 account I'm ordering it.

Still need LWFW, LSD, cams..and whatever else RSB and D1R can dream up for me to spend money on
...Then, I will repaint the car and have seats recovered, maybe Pete should expand into these services, because I hate for anyone else to touch my 968.
