RS Barn addict

RS Barn is great. In my field of work, customer service means everything. And Pete's customer service is beyond excellent. It is a real pleasure dealing with people like him.

if everyone in business took care of their customers like Pete, the economy might not be so far in the dump.

So I'm not the only one who has plans for when make a living happens again. Yep, I have something on the list...

My wife drove the car the other day and remarked how nice it feels and is better than before the LWFW. Well, she didn't say LWFW.

My car is at the Barn now. I told my buddy about Petes Eval, prices, expertise etc. We then started talking about our experiences locally with well know Porsche mechanics and it was a no brainer. Its worth the drive to PA. So Pete you will be seeing a 951 in the fall.

My neighbor just picked up a 944 (actually this past Fall) and I have been telling him repeatedly that he needs to take it to the Barn for all its needs. He tells me he plans on it, but he keeps taking it back to the local Porsche dealer for service. I shudder to think about the bills and the lack of attention he is receiving at the dealer. This dealer is not known for their 4 cyl water cooled expertise to say the least....

He bought a reconditioned dash earlier this year and had the dealer install it!!!

Oh well- I'll keep trying to convince him.

They are on my Miata, and will soon be on the Volvo...and do seem to add horsepower...just by my butt-o-meter.

I do and Im not that local. Here is a quote from Pete about my car.

Man I hope Pete doesn't mind, but I gotta put this in here as it made me feel that the car was in good hands.

"We are doing a bunch of stuff along the way at minimal cost. I want to make your car awesome.
You will be pleased.
Pete"

Actually it sucks being local. That means we have to pay on the spot or cannot blame the mail man! And he knows where we all live..... LOL

There are laso rumors of an RS Barn Decal "El Zorro". Apparently instead of a sword cut "Z", RSB decals appear on vehicles' glass surfaces at tracks throughout the Northeast!

You have nothing to worry about - Pete did the same for me in March and he turned my turd into a solid dependable car, ready for future mods. He is the fairest guy I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Who is this Pete character and what is RSBarn?

Wife loves her car with chip and exhaust, made her day a few years ago when Pete opened up shop.
Mine has a few more items of his added on. I'm down to an annual pilgrimage to Newtown, Pa now and the car is there currently. Worth every mile of the drive from the DC area to get a car to him.

Some say.. his fingers are made of carbon fiber and that RS Barn is a top secret center where crashed alien spacecraft undergoes reverse engineering. All we know is that he provides unequaled value to the 968 community
and that his human name is " Pete ".

Now we need a cross armed pic of him in his RSBarn driving suit and helmet.

I had a GOOD Birthday last month. I received a RS Barn lower chasis brace, 2 RS Barn window decals, and a RS Barn t-shirt. That plus some Griot's Garage's cleaning products and a brake bleeding tool along with my favorite dinner and my favorite drink made for a good day!
I proudly display the decals.
