ROW vs. US, difference??
#1

I was told that there is no difference between "U.S." and "Rest of the world engines". Am I mistaked here?

I have a 968 engine that was from Germany and actually rebuilt at the factory. Is this engine or ecu really any different from the "U.S." cars? if so can someone elaborate?

Thanks

the part numbers for the ECUs and the chips are identical, regardless of location - i can't imagine porsche having different parts with the same numbers - the part numbers do differ by release date, but not by region

there may be an O2 sensor difference or something like that though
