I am installing a Rotrex supercharger on my S2 and it looks like the best spot to locate this is in the left hand front - effectively a mirror image of where the stock oil cooler sits on the right side.



Open to suggestions. Is this where the D1R kit mounts the cooler?



I presume no ducting is necessary in front of the cooler (like the engine oil cooler uses) as long as it gets some air flow.

nope. i mounted it to the factory mounting points for the radiator duct.



but that location will work just fine.
