RL, I'm not the one who said it..
#1

overheard ( ok, I sort of listened in..) a conversation between two 911 drivers at the gas station where I was filling my MBZ up yesterday ; one told the other about some car that's for sale on RennLOST...and he did make a point of immediately saying " yeah, I always call it RennLOST " , with a chuckle .. Too funny not to share, perhaps even their 911 members have " issues " with the forum. I did not say anything because I was not with the '68 but had to crack a smile..

lol - yeah - we're the cool site for 968 stuff.

.net is for those who can't google past the first thing that pops up

rl is the site for social misfits with no ability to commune with like-minded people. it's sort of the wallflower (read loser) hangout for porsche owners.

Do I detect a small level of elitism starting to form. It is the Australian in me (read criminal ancestors) that has to cut the tall poppies down.

Being an older and more affordable Porsche, I am sure that we have all sorts here on the forum. I do agree however, that we are a much better behaved bunch. Nowhere near as much flaming as across the other side.

Here's to robust debating and constructive conflict.

I found .net and never got a response. I have been over to RL, but not in quite a while...I feel to have been welcomed here, (more or less - lol) - people seem to be ok interacting with me. I have not really felt snobbed against yet.

So, I figure I will stay until I get booted out.

.net is were I found my 92, a lot of times wish I never went there as I would never have found this car. It seems like the site is not running now? Was it fate that I happened on that site just when the prior owner was thinking of selling??

Maybe the only difference is you hit your head on the roof when you get into a coupe? Hmmm.

I can barely get into my cab when the roof is up - lol

It is even worse in a Miata. I am too old and fat for these cars.

Largely the debate is the Cab guys knowing that their cars are superior and the Coupe guys realizing it's true.

the " hit your head " comment was funny, the above is just downright delusional.. obviously cab guys are in denial, given that exactly the reverse is a well known fact ( yeah, look it up ! )
