I'm not afraid of breaking out the sandpaper when necessary, BUT, if he would have used something other than Megs105 as his first step, he probably wouldn't have had to wetsand at all. The general rule of thumb when doing any sort of paint correction is to do a test area to determine the necessary procedure and you should always use the least invasive method to preserve as much of the clear coat as possible. I'll break out my Makita with some Menzerna Power Gloss which eats 1500 grit scratches VERY quickly, but you also have to be VERY careful. Unless this guy was trying to level out orange peel, he wasted a ton of time taping, sanding and taking pictures...LOL Beautiful final product however, so kudos where kudos is due. He also didn't mention what the price was!?!
