replacing battery after winter
#1

Sorry for this question but am complete newbie to this stuff.

I want to reconnect my battery after a winter break...as soon as I connect the alarm kicks in and won't stop.

Is there a process that I should follow for reconnecting the battery?

again apologies for this dumb question <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

thanks for your tips and advice

A lot of alarms do this, just have the key in hand and ready to turn off the bugger once the batt is connected. If it wont turn off then you have other issues.

Put the key in the door lock and turn to "unlock" the door.

The alarm will go off on low battery. Is it fully charged?
