Oklahoma Foreign Inc, use Porsche parts BEWARE!
#1

To anyone contemplating doing business with Oklahoma Foreign, I'd advise finding another used parts vendor. Without going into the gory details, I made arrangements to purchase some used 944 engine parts for an engine I'm doing and when the parts arrived, I found them removed in a way that renders them useless. They were also obviously damaged and questionable before they were disassembled. Called and talk to Gary this morning, and asked him to send a call tag to pickup his defective parts and he refused. Says the shipping BOTH ways on his defective parts is on me!

When I told him he was leaving me no choice but to dispute the purchase with my CC Company, he started calling me profanities, told me they won't do anything until the parts are returned and hung up on me!

No matter what you need or what they may quote for the parts, you don't need them bad enough to deal with these losers.

This is not new. It's just been a while since a 968 owner has been hit in this way.

Odd...I've found them great to deal with, having made several purchases from them.

Well...I've used them in the past many years ago and things worked out fine. However, you really can't judge a place until you see how they handle a deal gone bad. Because they had the parts I needed and were willing to part out a short block, I didn't really have a choice in using them. As it turns out, they only parted that shortblock out because the engine was ruined along with most of the parts I needed. They should have seen this before shipping the parts out to me and if nothing else, kept things in order so if the parts were usable, I could have used them!

Gary was a complete A-hole on the phone today and way too arrogant for being wrong. I never once got upset and tried to handle this in a professional way until he hung up on me.

There are too many other places that offer better prices, service and no 'tude.

I had a very similar experience, they sent me the wrong part and they would not send me the correct one until I had returned their mistake at my cost. I won't ever use them again.

What really ticked me off was that the salesman told me that it wasn't their fault as the PET was showing the 951 part as interchangeable. I told him that the PET that I was currently looking at showed them not to be the same and he basically called me a liar.

That is discouraging in regards to OK Foreign. I have dealt with them some, and had a few problems.

Back when Bob was there I never had a single problem.

Now I stick with ( Al ) at Parts Heaven...... http://www.partsheaven.com/

or Robert at...... http://dcautomotive.com/

I have never had ANY trouble with either of these.
