I'm sure you have already been to
UK 968 Suspension Forum but if you have not you should check it out. A lot of the guys over there run the KW Variant 3 for the 968 with great success, that is the way I intend to go.

Ohlins are very nice, I would also think strongly about the Ledas and the Bilsteins you mentioned earlier. I mentioned the KWs because not only have I been looking at those for another vehicle I owned but also you would have lots of support on your side of the pond.
EDIT:
I see Gene has timed it well on the Ledas.

My race car is running very well on LEDAs. I'm sure they would work just fine in a street/track setup with the proper spring rates. I'm also sure you could find plenty of support locally since they're made in the UK.
Many thanks to all who have replied to my post, heard bad reports on ledas over here on 968uk, many have changed to other brands, [post="26526"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
I'm not sure what model LEDAs the 968uk guys are using, but those of us in the US running LEDA race shocks have not had these problems. I've been using mine hard for three seasons without any of the problems mentioned. I've got 13 class victories and 12 other podiums on my LEDAs. The two fastest 968's in NASA's GTS series are running LEDAs. The fastest 968 in PCA racing with over 20 class victories is also running LEDAs, and has done so without problems for five seasons. This guy is the favorite to win his class everywhere he shows up. Where I race most of the fast 968's, and many of the fast 944S2's I see run LEDAs.
