Sport Suspension Maintenence

The front MO30 struts seem to work fine. A little harsh for street use unless local roads are quite smooth.

Excellent info-I now have my winter project.

I'm starting with replacing the pump as an immediate fix. Current pump is a rebuilt unit, as I discovered from taking a closer look. Could have been a bad rebuild, but it is a mess. After that, over to my mechanic to discuss the shocks and think about what work I want to (or have time to) do vs the shop. Goal is that by end of this year I have confidence the car to close to its original handling performance.

This is a big help and will save me a lot of time in sorting through this.

Here's another was to distinguish between understeer and oversteer, attributed to Walter Rohrl. "Understeer is when you see the tree you are hitting, if you only hear the tree then it was oversteer."
