Re-piant pics - almost finished
#1

We picked up our new Siberian Husky today which made it a great day to start with. On the way home we stopped to visit my buddy who is re-painting the 968 in Basalt Black. Here are some pics of the progress. Everything has been painted now it is time for re-assembly. He ordered all new body and trim gaskets. The driver door hinge had pulled loose, so he modified and installed a new hinge. The only part not removed was the cabrio top, it was just to involved so he taped and painted around that. The color is fantastic and all of the pieces look great. It will be re-assembled and I will pick it up February 11th.

I'll post more pics when it is finished.

Pic of the new husky "Spirit" included too

I want to be next...

From my naive perspective, the dismantling certainly makes it seem that this paint job is being done the right way.

Makes it look like a dune buggy. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Dog is 3 years old. We got him from our breeder we used in the past. Went to reserve two pups from one of the litters and fell in love with him.
