Bob,
That is shammus's car (he just got divorced). It was originally here in CT before he purchased it last year and it is indeed Raspberry. 1 of 6 cabs.

something is wrong - that is not raspberry (also called rhodamine)

here are the colors for comparison
http://www.landsharkoz.com/htm/sc/colourred.htm

here are some shots of raspberry red - note that they are all consistently very pink

here is coral red - note how orange

Bob,
Maybe your monitor is changing the car's color on you? Below is a shot of the same car and another of a coral car. I know the car for sale and it is absolutely, 100% Raspberry, like the ebay ad says.

The lighting in that EBay ad does make it look more Coral for me and I'm not on one of those horrible Mac things Flash uses. The pics you posted show off the two colors much better.

i have my monitors color matched to a broadcast RGB pattern (i have to for editing) - if that car is raspberry, then the photographer needs to be shot, because they are a dead on match for coral

the shot you posted of the car outside looks like raspberry, and nothing like the ebay shots

Let's go to the option code sticker............

Not orange enough to be coral and not pink enough to be Raspberry...bad lighting for sure. Since Jeff is personally familiar with the car, my money's on Raspberry. HHMMM...a rare unique color cab tip...I guess I could get "DIVORCE" for a vanity tag.

it may be raspberry, and based on the shot jeff put up, i'd believe it, but i'm telling you, on my monitor, i put the coral shot up to the shot from the ad, and they are IDENTICAL

so, obviously the photographer did not check his shots, or chose to light the car so that it did not look pink

this also can happen if you make the rookie mistake of using a built in flash on the camera, as opposed to lighting the set, and then shooting

On my monitor it looks the same as the raspberry red coupe that Rader had a few years ago. Some of the reds can be difficult to distinguish from a picture or two.

Flash, what do you think about the color matched wheels, lol?

lol - i'm not going to express any opinions on colors of cars or wheels - that never goes well

as for the shots, while there are hints of the true pink nature of the color, though all of them are in "hot spots" every single one of them is the same color on my monitor as the coral red shots i have

As for the color matched wheels, they are not original to the car. The previous owner thought they would look cool and had them done. It is a 17" wheel car.

Another rare color nice condition car. Seems that these two variables always track with a tip.

I saw this car right away and liked the uniqueness of it. The dealer doesn't seem to know to much about it, I am not crazy about cap I love the coupes and with trip trans. If it was closer I would take a look though.
