Radio wiring harness
#1

Where can i find a CR-1 wiring harness... most places ie.) crutchfield, onlinecarstero.. ect don't stock it. I just bought lots of new radio equipment (8- JL Xr CSIs .. components a 100x4 amp and a 8" 200W bazooka) and i have the wiring kits. I don't want to cut the wires and i bought the same wiring harness as the 91 944s2. One is blaupunkt and the CR-1 is Alpine. Would like to order some time this weekend. TIA

SW stereo (1-800-270-2378) can make you a set - they made a set for me that grafted on the new harness - plug and play

Ok, guys, tomorrow is my day off and i'm going to install my stereo equipment. I have both sills and parts of the carpet up and door panels off. I'm taking the crossovers out and replacing them with the JL components in the rear and in the front. One problem that i ran into earlier was the doors have some type of dynomat... or plastic-like covering that has the whole door sealed. I wanted to run new speaker wire to the amp and can't seem to snake it into that tube connecting the door to the car. Anybody have any insight on this? How should i attach the carpets afterwards or will the glue be sticky enough to hold it in place? I don't want to use the stock wiring in fear of overpowering it. Thanks.

SW Sterep made a harness for me and it works great....and I didn't burn anything out trying to figure out what wire went where.
