Race Engine
#1

I've been working on a 968 Race Motor Project for 3 years.
Goal was to have 300 Engine HP without Dry Sump or Stand Alone ignition being required.
We finally tested on Engine Dyno!!!
With several combinations we peaked at 311HP@7100RPM and settled with 302HP @6300 RPM , with much more torque and lower RPM for peak power
I'm pretty happy with 60 more HP at same RPM as stock.
More will be in the works
I'm hoping to attach first engine dyno video ever. BTW, this run 308HP
Yes, We Rock
That's Max hooking up Electrical from engine to dyno rig

I'm dissapointed we didn't get 325 @ 7500
The motor will do that, easy
We just ran out of tuning time, $$$,

Congratulations Pete!
That's awesome!

Wish I could come up there and give you and Max a high-5 today, but it looks like I'll be shoveling again instead.

It seems the dual resonance is dropped?! Guess it doesn't offer much for an race engine being most of the time in the upper half of the rev's.

Awesome!!
Over 100hp/liter. No small feat for a big I4.
You guys just keeping doing what they say can't be done.

Congratulations on all your hard work.

As someone else mentioned, an exciting time to be a 968 owner.

Congrats guys! Another amazing accomplishment by RS Barn.

Unless I can close one of my I-Banking deals soon, I probably can't afford one now, but when I do, I am going to be stoked running that exhaust over the front right Hoosier and out through the fender! Definitely will make the cover of GRM Magazine after UTCC!!!

Again; CONGRATULATIONS does not begin to describe the necessary kudos to you and Max as I personally know how much sweat, time, tears, and resources in general have gone into this development. Every day I am more and more excited to continue carrying the RS Barn windshield banner and decals on the race car while also considering myself privileged to be given the hot-shoe award every once in a while...

Great balls of fire!!!
