R. Glass Film
#1

For those that have a coupe...

I've noticed that the black film on the perimeter of the rear glass is starting to flake and peel. What are some of the options [if any] for replacing or touching up this film?

Search it up, this is a very common thing. EVERY car has had it happen. Look in the DIY section.

I think the magic word for a successful search is "delamination". As a cab owner, I don't have such problems. I "only" have to deal with broken main bows, a deteriorating rear window, and...it doesn't matter.

Most if not all the topics had to do with separation of the glass from the frame and not what I'm asking about.

I'd like to find a way to touch up/replace the black film my glass is fine.
