How to post your car in the "Garage"
#1

- Click on the Garage text on the nav bar (this will take you to the garage)

-Under "My Vehicles" click on "Create New Vehicle"

-On the next page you will be asked a series of questions like Make, Model, purchase price, etc. You will also have the option to browse your hard drive of your computer to add a picture. (if you wish) Click on the button "Create new vehicle"

-That's about it.

The next screen you will see options like add Modifications. You have the ability to add individual modifications, the cost, the cost to install, a brief description, and pictures.

You also have a gallery for each car. You can upload pictures from your hard drive to the server through the website. There are several types of galleries associated with the site. Your personal gallery attached to your account. A general gallery that is broken up in to categories and sub categories like Events> Hershey 2003, or General 968 photos> Cabs. You have the ability to post and share in all of these galleries. I know everyone has lots of images that they have been storing. You now have the ability to share the pictures in an organized fashion.

I added my daily drive as well to the garage. I then realized it is the only one. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mellow.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Is it OK to fill the garage just as your real one or are there any limits to makes ?

Thanks

Alex

Can you make it so our 'Garage' links to our photo gallery? For instance, I just spent 15 mins trying to figure out where someone's car pics were that she posted, and looked all around the garage, found her car, but couldn't find the pics. Apparently they are in the 'gallery' and not the garage.

Thanks!

Mark

Mark,

I did that too. The Gallery and Garage are on two seperate systems (Data Bases). They are not linked and can't be linked easily. I think Laura posted that her pictures were in the Gallery and not the garage. I can't really help on this one quickly. I wish I could, I will ask the person that designed the Garage software though.
