So i bid on a used clutch and flywheel that the seller said has 30k on it. Don't need one, just seemed like a good deal. My max bid was 50 bucks, the winner got it for 51. Maybe someone can make me feel better by telling me this thing was worthless?

not oem pressure plate - that's a sachs plate and the geometry is wrong - it makes the pedal feel funny - never reuse a friction disk - release bearings rust when they are allowed to sit

Thats the plate the PO had in my car. Pete swapped it out and I was amazed at how nicely the clutch engaged afterwords.
