Plug wires, OEM vs KV85
#1

So I need new wires. With new rotor, cap and plugs it feels wrong not to do them too. And they look poo and will probably start causing trouble in the nearby future.

So I'm thinking about wether to go OEM style or go-fast wires like the KV85 that RS Barn sells. The price is definately in the KV85's favour, some 50 USD cheaper than OEM. I don't really care for stock looks and blue or red wires are ok with me (not pink though, not with my baby blue car ) ). I do care about OEM fit, especially the seals at the cam cover, and about being able to listen to the radio.

OEM is OEM (be it quality repop or genuine OEM) so I really don't need any input on them. But the KV85's? Are they a good choice given my preferences?

Thx,

Magnus

I just installed the KV85's 2 months ago and th fit is great. Once installed you'd never know they weren't stock. Not like the Jacobs wires that were being sold for the 944's which were a joke.

Appreciate the question Fish. I have chosen the KVs myself but didnt think about the fit. I've never had a problem with wires in the past so the thought never crossed my mind.

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!
