Philly Enthusiast Seeks Kowledge of 968 Engines.
#1

I'm a lifetime car enthusiast who just doesn't get enough of cars due to work and a multitude of projects. Even though I am more of a car guy than a truck guy, I currently have a Silverado work truck, a '91 Toyota Pickup and a 1974 Land Cruiser and no cars at this time unless you count a 1966 Mustang that's in my Dad's name because I was only 17 when I bought it. I'm 39 now. My last car was a 1999 M Coupe which was the best car I ever owned because of its reliability and the fact you could do just about anything with it except go off-roading.

I have to admit that while I am more of a 944 than 968 fan, I'm here mainly to learn about the 968 engine because I'm interested in doing a 968 engine in a 944. Hopefully you guys don't mind if I lurk around for a bit. I will keep you guys updated on this journey. Feel free to say hi.

I have owned both a 944 and is now in a 968. The 968 is far more mechanically perfected than the 944. All the issues in the 944 (like clutch replacement) was fixed in the 968
