2008 Ventura Show -- September 13 & 14
#1

Well, the former promoter of "The Ventura Show" has apparently sold the show to World Class Motoring of Thousand Oaks who is having the show on September 13 and 14. I just received a full color flyer in the mail today and it appears that the organization of the show is similar to years past.

Here is the link:

I'm thinking of heading there Sunday morning. Anyone interested in meeting?

I went to the C&C show in the Valley this past Sunday (great show with tons of cars....had about 1/2 hour alone one-to-one time with Jay Leno....he is one funny guy with a ton of great stories) and got a flyer on my windsheild....quite a shock as I was under the impression the event was over and out. I am curious if the new owners will have better success as the last few years have been pretty dismal.

I heard the same... that the last show was disappointing.

re: Leno; I've also run into him at a few of the c/shows in the Val - he's very approachable, [unlike some celebs] and is fun to chat with. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

bagging this one - first one i've missed - with the complete lack of details on the website, the late start they got on it, therefore the good chance that my 2.5 hour trip there and another back would be for naught, and the fact that i was at the track friday and really overheated myself, i'm just taking this weekend off and laying around the house - the longest trip i am taking is to the wine fridge for another bottle of sauvignon blanc
