Wow I just realized since someone asked, I really do not have many pics of the 944 track car. I'll get more and post later. It is an 86 944 Turbo. The two guys I share it with are the mechanics, I just get to drive it so I may not have all of the stuff listed correctly. I work with the two other guys and its a great distraction so we are not always talking about work, It has a full roll cage, a momo stering wheel about the size of a donut, two performance ships, oversize brakes, with some custom cowling to provide more air to cool them off, BB cat-back exhaust, 5 point harness on both sides, and some other stuff. Still street legal though so we can put the race tires in the hatch and drive it back and forth. Its our second track car. The first one was a normally aspirated 86 944, that we sold to a friend in Lancaster PA. The current one was run in the 944 Cup series by a guy in Gettysburg. We use it for autocross and an occasional FATT at Summit point.



That is my lovely wife going for a "test ride" at the last autocross. When I brought my first Porsche home it was an 83 928S auto in blue. Her first comment was "if we are going to own a Porsche it has to be red, black or yellow and it has to be a 6 speed". I am happy to say I have lived up to all of her requests.
