I met one marshal from Australia, but the vast majority were Bahraini, which only added to the experience. It is a long flight, but it was definitely worth it.
I go to F1 races here and there as a spectator, but I've never marshalled one before. This came through an unlikely series of events.
I'm invited to return next year, which I may very well do. The racing is great, and from what I've seen Manama is a very nice place to be.
