I'm gonna have to take close up pics of the drivers seat surfaces vs the other 3 and post em. I really think it may have to do with the drivers seat being fully outfitted and a premium grade of leather was used on it. It also appears and feels to be full leather on the sides and back. Have not come across anything else inside that looks any different than the rest of yas.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I don't think so. Most of the seat material/color options are covered in the two character interior code (code LC). There are almost 100 different 968 interior codes, each one dictates a type of material and the color. For example, 7 different flavors of cashmere/black, full leather interior, partial leather, full leather seats only, multicolor fabric in both full and partial, and "Porsche" cloth in both full and partial. However, these 5 character codes are used for "add-ons" to the seats such as piping, supple leather material, and the Porsche crest in the headrest. Other things would be deviating colors, stitching, ect. Let me know what you find. Send me some photos to jeffery.coe@snet.net and maybe i can see it.

I don't have that one either but I have 14991 which I believe is the porsche crest in the headrest.

Here's some pics of my seats. One thing I see right away is seat pattern is different than many.

Hopefully you can see the difference in the drivers leather vs the passenger (and the rear seats)

You're right Flash, just looked at several for sale on autotrader and most of the interiors have this pattern. The ones I have looked at previously had the simpler seat stitching. I'm almost thinking the seat surfaces on my passenger and rears are possibly vinyl?

correct - later cars are the simpler design

correct - in a "normal" car, seating surfaces of front seats are leather - sides and rear surfaces are vinyl - pretty sure all of the parts of the rear seats are vinyl (somebody correct me if i'm wrong here)

I seem to remember the same on the leather Flash, front = partial/full leather - rear = all vinyl; but I believe there was an option for full leather on all surfaces.

yes, there was that option - relatively rare, but there are a few around

Humm, looks like the normal LC seats to me as well. However, your car does have a deviating carpet!!! The standard carpet color on a LC car would be cashmere, you have black. Did you replace it? If not, maybe 15801 is the deviating carpet code option for a coupe????

I've got one of the cabs (1 of 30 full leather cabs).
