I have been revisiting my problem with the Oil level light ON and the sending unit again. I finally did an oil change so I pulled the sender, nothing apparently wrong with it, so I put it back. Just don't have the $260-270 for a new one right now. I checked the wire and had about 11.5 volts. So does the sender just go to ground and the grounded signal turns the light on the dash off? Can I just ground the wire so I don't have to look at the the big Red ( ! ) on the dash?
