does anybody know of the black 968 on youtube by havikrs, looks reaklly neat especiall the tilton pedals and chequer plate floor, regards pazzer.

Yep, it's being build by Rob van Kol in Belgium for a client who will race it next year. I regularly meet Rob at races and track days in Holland and Belgium, great person and great engineer. He builds beautiful water cooled Porsche racing cars. He is especially renowned for building hard core racing engines: 944 Turbo, 968 NA, 968 Turbo conversion, 928 with throttle bodies, etc. Have a look at www.havikrs.com. Obviously the race 968 in the youtube movie looks pretty good, but the sound of that engine... wow.

PS. "Havik" is Dutch and/ or Flemish for Hawk. The name of Rob's company is Havik RS, which (obviously) means Hawk RS in English.

The car has some interesting details. It is hard to see a lot in the youtube vid. The pedal arrangement, shifting the driver rearward, air jacks, etc. I wonder what else was done (or is being done)?
