Hi guys. I am Tim from Philly, PA.

Picking up my 968 in 1 week. It is a 1994 with 87k miles. A track prepped car with a super charger. Can't wait to get it! I had 996 cab 5 years ago then got a 2007 C6 Z06.

Probably a NLA D1R supercharger. I heard they only made a few dozen and went out of business <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/whine.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I sure hope its one of those defective units, as opposed to the REALLY defective units out there...

Thanks guys. I do plan to track it. I sold the Z06 since it was no fun on the street. Decided to replace it with 2 cars. Bought a 2007 XK Jag convertible 2 weeks ago for my fun street car and buying the 968 as a more dedicated track car. Getting a lift put in my gargage since I have exceeded the number of bays I have!

The super charge is from SFR. http://www.speedforceracing.com/index.php?productID=736

Once I figure out where to post things, I was going to ask if anyone has experience with storage lifts and what brands are good.

Go to garages in the directory and there is plenty on what I just went through. I just chose that lift and would be happy to discuss this with you. Email me if you would like.

Welcome to the Best Forum going. A lift is great to have, but make sure the concert flooring is at least 6 inches thick and covers a large area for a mounting pad for mounting the bolts. You do not want the lift to tip over.

Cheers,

Larry

If you are pouring a new garage floor, make it 12 inches and you will have more options on placement.

already poured unfortunately. And think it is only 4".

On another topic I did picked up the car yesterday - 1200 miles in 1.5 days to get it! I bought it from a forum member here - TJ aka Darth Coupe. Do not think he has posted for awhile.

Here are some pics I took after I got home. I will post some more once I get it cleaned up.

start an album, or better yet, build a garage page, and put them there.
