new stereo adds 40 horsepower
#1

ok - maybe not, but it sure seemed like it

i actually took her out for a drive down toward san diego this morning - beautiful day out - low 70s - no traffic - sunny sky - top down - car ran great - system working perfectly - i swear the car got faster the more i drove it - i really have missed driving it - got stopped twice by guys who had to check it out -one of them in a brand new 997 ragtop who was having a hard time catching me on a portion of the route where i opened it up - he asked me if it was a turbo, and he made me open the hood and prove that it wasn't

i'll finally be kicking over 50k this weekend on the german autofest run

Nothing like a great drive down the coast of Ca.
Glad you enjoyed it, and got props from the 997 owner.

Great story. For a minute, I thought Dan was the only one that drove your car hard. I'd like to hear more of these stories from you and a few others with well modded street legal cars.

I do understand that some choose to preserve their car as a low mileage collector but I wouldn't have the will power to do it myself. >edit, I dont have the maturity <

in the 6 years i've owned the car, i've logged about 27k on it - not bad really - most of it was in the first year though - then i started modding and it has taken this long to sift through the different attempts - i hope now to drive it more - i don't drive much at all, and it gets spread out across the M3, the denali, and even some on the white car, but i should at least be able to do some of it on the blue car, and most of that spirited
