Selling our Black 968 track car and our guards red 924S funded this. Don't worry - we still have our 968 cab.



This is just a hair over 2000lb, 1973 RSR look, based on a 1967 912, SC engine, 993 oil coolers, fuel cell, tube chassis, all fiberglass/lexan, just repainted, etc.



I'm thinking it will be fun, but will be a whole different experience than racing 944s or the 968.

Cool looking rig! I am sure you will have big fun. I bet the difference between driving the front engine and the rear engine is going to take some getting used to.

From what I've seen, these lightweight 911s make incredible race cars.



I'm so envious of you guys who race. I would have to give up eating, or go live in a cardboard box by the side of the road (being fed cold poison, to continue the Monte Python allusion...) to be able to do what you guys do. By the time I can afford it (i.e. when the kids have left, the house is paid off, etc.), there I'll be, at long last, in my shiny race car, shaking my cane out the side window, in my shrill, octogenarian (if I'm lucky to be that young) voice, "Outta my way, Sonny! Let me pass, fer criminey's sake! I'll tan yer hide, ya disrespectful young whippersnapper!" Ah, but it will be soooo much fun...
