Welcome!

There are a few owners in Colorado, what a great way to get to know your new 968.

You must post a few times to have all the rights and privleges, but when you do, post a pic or two.

Regards,

Jay

Bob- I wrote you back, but thanks for your kind offer. I am trying to make it back to my shop, www.poudresportscar.com, in Northern Colorado by Saturday morning to start working on the car, but I may try to stop by your shop to take a look. I work at my families independent Porsche shop, and have been working on Porsches for over a decade, following in my father's footsteps. I have a 72 911 race car, but wanted something fun and unique to use as a daily driver. This will be replacing a fully restored 81 Mercedes 380sl and a nicely modified BMW 540i, so it has big shoes to fill. Don't think it will be a problem. The 968 definitely fits that bill! The car I am buying is cheap and high mileage, but seems to be in pretty good condition considering. I am going to make it very nice! Thanks for the kind welcome!

lol - i'm not a shop, but i see how that would have been the assumption - it's just me in the garage mahal boxing up superchargers

making it to colorado by saturday is a no brainer - it's a 1 day shot (a long day, but i've done it a couple of times now, even towing)

so, feel free to pop by - you have my number

Welcome to the family. Sad to see a 968 leave SoCal though. I saw a nice black coupe on the freeway ride home Yesterday. Quite rare to see one in rush hour traffic.

Welcome aboard! Be sure to notify the PCA 968 Register of your new car so the directory can be updated. Contact Jeff Coe, jeffery.coe @ snet.net who is the 968 Register Advocate.

Enjoy the ride. Jay, Bob and many others are great resources on this Forum.
