Just want to say hello to all the members. I'm working out of Fayetteville, AR right now, and so far, I'm the only 968 in town.

I use to drive a1973 Porsche 914 2.0L, but I recently traded my dad for his 968. It is a 1993 Cab, red exterior and tan interior. Great drive, just has a few little hiccups here and there.

I'm ready to start using the forums to figure out different things about my 968, so I'll need all the help I can get!

Welcome,

How cool is it to be the only one for miles, I bet you will get a lot of stares.

Enjoy the Forum,

Jay

Welcome, and nice trade! Reminds me of a joke - Bill Clinton, while still president, stepped off the presidential chopper onto the white house lawn with a Razorback under each arm. He commented to the marine at the bottom of the stairs that he'd gotten one for Hillary and one for Chelsea. The marine snapped a salute and said "Nice trade, sir!"

Welcome from a fellow 968er in Tulsa. We believe there are 6 here in the Tulsa area. One got away like the one you are talking about. Did you get it here?

There's a big Porsche gathering every November in Eureka Springs (you may know about it). You'll have to join Porsche Club of America if you haven't already.

We actually found the 968 in San Antonio. The previous owner was moving away, and there was no one to drive it.

I actually went to two Porsche events in Eureka Spring this past fall: Porsche Palooza and the MUSR 914 event. Both were definitely worth it!

Coincidentally, I purchased mine in Springdale and the seller has a nice turbocharged 968 Coupe for sale there now. Welcome to the forum!
