I live in Baldwinsville, ny (near syracuse) am an orange b'ball fan and my summer track car is a 1995 968 hardtop (red) which loves to go to Watkins Glen!! I am now in the midst of replacing original pads with racing (semi-metallic) pads and the job was no where near as simple/easy as the Porsche website guy stated..thank god for Paragon products..they were a saviour. Just waiting on some parts to finish the rear and then on to the front! I would definitely recommend removing the calipers to do this, so mush easier and you will need to bleed the brakes, but should do that every year anyway.

If you're planning on racing regularly you should get to know Pete at RS Barn (see sponsors link above)

Welcome, and enjoy the site,

Welcome. I grew up in the Cazenovia area so I am familiar with "B-ville" as we called it. If you are interested in racing you might look at americaninternationalracing.com if you haven't already. They have an interesting front spoiler and a real adjustable wing. When you log into the sight click on "Porsche', then "968/944/924" then click on the picture of the 968. Have fun. rgraham

Welcome to the 968 forum! Just finished a brake job myself, encountered a few minor challenges, but was able to get answers on this site. Good luck with your modifications.
