There was a thread a few months ago started by a guy who was making beautiful replacement dashes out of leather, with very elegant, rich-looking stitching, and I believe they were available in multiple colors. The main issue I remember is that they weren't available for airbag equipped cars. I'd have to go back and check, because I'm not 100% sure if he was making 968 dashes, or only 944, but do a search. If he hasn't done so already, maybe you could convince him to do a 968 airbag-equipped dash for you in the color of your choice. Good luck, and let us know what you find.

Try this site.. Also search thread topics on Rennlist for "leather dash". Pricey but pretty and a long lasting solution. Hedoes air bag equipped 944s and I believe that is very close if not identical to the 968 model.

Or, do what I did which was purchase a perfect used dash from someone dismantling a car. Whatever route you choose, there's some excellent instructions available for replacing the dash - ask me if you get to that point and don't have them.

The 928 Leather shop is local. I've seen examples of Robert's work on some of the local PCA member's cars - dashboards, steering wheels and seats. It's definately an upgrade over the oem material and the workmanship is top notch - simply beautiful.
