need an entire, working instrument cluster for a 968 manual transmission.

It seems that there are a few on eBay. The sellers indicate that the clusters fit late 944, 928, and 968 vehicles. Anyone have any experience with this?

The 968 has a higher top speed than the 944 on the speedo 180mph

Significant differences for the 968.  I have a cluster but the fuel/temp guage has been removed.  If your fuel/temp guage is good, it's an easy swap.  It's got 124K on the clock and condition is unknown as it is from my parts car and was never tested.  PM or e-mail for details.

Don't forget to change the odometer gears and the bulbs while its out, and reline the light tunnels with foil. Clean the gauge contacts too.
